Visit Bend partners with RRC Research of Colorado to conduct in-depth research on the Bend tourism industry. Visitors to Bend, Oregon, are interviewed at several locations around the region, including but not limited to, Lava Lands Visitor Center, summer concerts at the Les Schwab Amphitheater, Tumalo Falls, Downtown Bend, the Old Mill District, and the Bend Visitor Center.

RRC Associates of Boulder, Colorado, compiled research data during and immediately following the 2012 USA Cycling Masters Road National Championships, held September 5‐9, 2012, in Bend and the surrounding area. The primary intent of the research was to estimate the economic impact of the USA Cycling Masters Road National Championship events in the Central Oregon region.
RRC Research of Colorado compiled survey data on room revenue comparing how Bend has recovered from the peak of the recession (2008 & 2009), compared to the 24 months following the recession (2010 & 2011).
