Cyclocross Nationals Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the competition venue?
The competition venue is in the Old Mill District in the heart of Bend and on the banks of the Deschutes River. The race course winds through the open fields to the south of Les Schwab Amphitheater then crosses Shevlin Hixon Road before it meanders through the grass fields of Deschutes Brewery. Click here to see a map of the course. The course is a short drive or bike ride from most hotels in Bend and, being in the heart of the City, is perfect for spectators and competitors alike. Surrounding the race course are the vibrant shops and restaurants of the Old Mill District.

Where do I register for the event?
Sports Base Online will be handling all of the registrations for Cyclocross Nationals. Registration is not available yet.

Where should I stay for Cross Nationals in Bend?
Most of the hotels in Bend are a short drive or bike ride from the competition venue. Bend has a vibrant mix of hotels, condominiums, vacation rental homes, resorts and bed & breakfasts, all of which can be seen at www.visitbend.com.  

Where is packet pick-up?
Onsite registration and packet pick-up is located in the heart of the Old Mill District, next door to REI and upstairs from the Helly Hansen store. It's a short walk and just across the footbridge from the competition venue. The address is 450 SW Powerhouse Drive, Suite 429, Bend OR 97702.

Packet Pickup and Onsite Registration Date & Times:
Wednesday, December 8 from 9:00AM to 1:00PM, and 2:00PM to 8:00PM.
Thursday, December 9 from 7:30AM to 3:00PM
Friday, December 10 from 7:00AM to 3:00PM
Saturday, December 11 from 7:30AM to 3:00PM
Sunday, December 12, from 7:30AM to 2:00PM

Where can I ship my bike?
You can ship your bikes to our friends at Sunnyside Sports and they'll have it waiting for you in

Who is the race director for Cross Nationals in Bend?
Brad Ross is the race director for Cross Nationals in Bend. Brad is the race director and owner of the largest cyclocross series in the country, the Cross Crusade, and was the race director for Cross Nationals when they were in Portland, Oregon.
