Ice Skating in Bend Oregon

Nestled in the heart of the Seventh Mountain Resort, a circle of ice as smooth as glass invites both figure skaters and hockey skaters of all ability levels to enjoy one of the most well maintained skating rinks in Central Oregon. Spin, swirl and dash around the ice, and then retire into the Rim Rock Bar which over looks the rink to sample the Hood River Pear Tarte Tatin or your favorite Single Malt Scotch or Irish Whiskey.

The rink at the Seventh Mountain Resort is open daily with late night skating on the weekend. Lessons are offered in figure and hockey skating and rentals are available at the recreation center. The resort is located on the way to Mt. Bachelor and just a few miles outside of downtown Bend off Century Drive.

The Seventh Mountain Resort hosts a number of special events on the rink including a skate recital during the Sunday of Bend Winterfest, which showcases the talent of local figure skaters. Come skate with Santa on Friday and Saturday nights before Christmas.

The Village at Sunriver, located 10 miles south of Bend, offers a covered ice skating rink during the winter months. After an exhausting whirl and twirl on the ice, grab a cup of cocoa or a hot latte paired with some freshly baked donuts or pastries from the Hot Lava Baking Company.
