There is always something fun happening in Bend, Oregon. Central Oregon is home to a variety of year-round events from sporting and recreational festivities like the Cascade Cycling Classic and the Pole Pedal Paddle to an array of festivals like Balloons Over Bend, Bend's Bend WinterFest and Summer Festival, the Halloween Cyclocross Crusade & Festival, and free summer concerts at the Les Schwab Amphitheater.

A WPA Stand Up Paddle Board race on the Deschutes River in Bend, Oregon. Racing from Riverbend Park through the Old Mill District. A 5 mile long course, a 1.5 Mile short course and new this year 400 Meter elimination sprints. On Friday June 15 from 3 - 6 pm some of the leading manufacturers in the sport will be offering free demos of the their latest SUP gear.

This is a two day celebration of the sport of Stand Up Paddling and highlights the commitment from the community of paddlers for two important causes.  Again this year we are benefitting the Bend Paddle Trail Alliance and their efforts to create awareness and raise funds for the future whitewater park here in Bend.  The event will also benefit the Bend Metro Parks and Rec Scholarship Fund.  All the proceeds from this event go to those organizations.

This year we are part of the Subaru Outside Games, a week long festival of sporting events, charity fundraisers, a film festival and concerts that highlight the outdoor lifestyle in Bend, Oregon.
