There is always something fun happening in Bend, Oregon. Central Oregon is home to a variety of year-round events from sporting and recreational festivities like the Cascade Cycling Classic and the Pole Pedal Paddle to an array of festivals like Balloons Over Bend, Bend's Bend WinterFest and Summer Festival, the Halloween Cyclocross Crusade & Festival, and free summer concerts at the Les Schwab Amphitheater.

Deschutes is back on board for the popular downtown Bend First Friday Art Walk! Join the fun pub crew for barbeque, art, live music and, of course, beer, just behind the pub in downtown Bend. Art Walk has become a focal point for cultural activities in the Bend community and a much anticipated festive beginning to every month. Deschutes will be participating with a back-alley party May through September 2012.

It's an extra special First Friday in May because we've got artist Cristina Acosta in the "house" and live music from DJ Czar. A pinata and mustache contest since Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner, and to top it off, we will be serving BBQ goodness in the back-alley (pulled pork, smoked poblano tamales & veggie tacos) and Dunkel, Love Child IPA and a Firkin' of Pomegranate Pale will be flowin' from the taps outside! Come on down...it's gonna be good times!
