There is always something fun happening in Bend, Oregon. Central Oregon is home to a variety of year-round events from sporting and recreational festivities like the Cascade Cycling Classic and the Pole Pedal Paddle to an array of festivals like Balloons Over Bend, Bend's Bend WinterFest and Summer Festival, the Halloween Cyclocross Crusade & Festival, and free summer concerts at the Les Schwab Amphitheater.

Ninkasi Brewing Company presents Last Band Standing Bend for local musicians and original bands to compete in what has become Central Oregon's largest search for the best up and coming local artists. Over the last 2 years, hundreds of acts, mostly local to Deschutes County, submitted their applications to be selected to perform for over $20,000 in prizes. Every Thursday through June 21st (with the exception of May 31st).
