Central Oregon and Bend Oregon Calendar of Events

There is always something fun happening in Bend, Oregon. Central Oregon is home to a variety of year-round events from sporting and recreational festivities like the Cascade Cycling Classic and the Pole Pedal Paddle to an array of festivals like Balloons Over Bend, Bend's Bend WinterFest and Summer Festival, the Day of the Dead Cyclocross Festival, and free summer concerts at the Les Schwab Amphitheater.

Category: Fundraiser / Cost: $18 in advance, $20 at the door

A nationally recognized event designed to raise awareness about hunger issues.

Attendees will have two opportunities to choose from over 750 hand crafted bowls created by local potters who have donated their time and talents for this event.  They can then fill their bowl with delicious gourmet soup and enjoy local bread and desserts while enjoying music from local musicians. Chef Julian Darwin of the Cascade Culinary Institute will be providing the gourmet soup and commemorative cookbooks will be available for sale.                                                                     This year there will be a seating at 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $18 and may be purchased in advance from www.bendticket.com ($1.50 service charge applies), www.neighborimpact.com or if available, tickets may be purchased at the door for $20.
