Central Oregon and Bend Oregon Calendar of Events

There is always something fun happening in Bend, Oregon. Central Oregon is home to a variety of year-round events from sporting and recreational festivities like the Cascade Cycling Classic and the Pole Pedal Paddle to an array of festivals like Balloons Over Bend, Bend's Bend WinterFest and Summer Festival, the Halloween Cyclocross Crusade & Festival, and free summer concerts at the Les Schwab Amphitheater.

 On Saturday, the party starts at 10 a.m. in Riverbend Park. Join the Tumalo Creek crew as well as boating representatives from major kayak, canoe and paddleboard companies, and demo the latest models of the best human-powered watercraft on the market. Both reps and staff will be on hand to answer questions and get new boaters safely and comfortably out on the water. 

New this year, Tumalo Creek will be partnering with Lay It Out Events, who will be holding the 24th annual Salmon 5K and 10K Run/Walk and Little Fry Run at Riverbend Park the same day. The race benefits the Central Oregon Environmental Center. Runners are encouraged to join the paddling festivities after they finish the race.

If you are new to paddling, sign up for Tumalo Creek's free two-hour Paddlefest clinics beginning Friday from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. and continuing all day Sunday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. (No clinics on Saturday, demo day.)
