I’m Kevney. I’m a fly fishing guide turned Sports Development Manager for Visit Bend the Visitor and Convention Bureau for the best city in America! I’m a runner, cyclist, fisherman and general admirer of the great outdoors and all the activities that can be done out there.
My day job consists of talking to national governing bodies educating them why Bend, Oregon is the only town they need to consider. Luckily it’s not a hard sell as they quickly realize why Bend has become such a special place to so many people. When I’m not selling Bend, I am exploring all the amazing things it has to offer! From world class trails & gold medal trout streams to award winning micro-brews & five-star restaurants.

It doesn’t take too much to keep me happy. A handful of days on a good trout stream with good company is a must. Throw in a couple weeks of international travel to the Caribbean to stalk bonefish with a fly rod and you have put together the perfect year. When not on the water a run with my English Setter, Izzi, is a great way to refresh the mind and think of the next great adventure in Bend!
