Aspen Lakes Golf Course is one of the top ranked golf courses in Oregon, and is located just five minutes from the old-west town of Sisters. Immaculately maintained bent grass fairways and multiple tees create a unique playing experience and the 18-hole course is challenging and breathtaking at the same time. Aspen Lakes was constructed under the watchful eye of world class golf course architect William Overdorf, who worked to integrate important natural features into the golf course rather than destroy them. The course features signature red sand bunkers made from crushed red cinders indigenous to Central Oregon. The deep red sand creates a visual delight as it contrasts with the green grass, blue skies and white, snow covered, mountains that are the Aspen Lakes Golf Course signature. Aspen Lakes has received broad press attention, including recognition from Golf Digest as the number eight Best New Affordable Course in the United States, number two course ranking by Brainstorm Magazine for Best Overall Experience in the Northwest, and features in both the Japanese and Korean versions of Golf Digest. The course includes an 11,000 square foot putting green, PGA Learning Center, practice facility and a junior golf program for players of all levels under age 17. The stunning 28,000 square foot clubhouse – featuring a full service pro shop, bar and Brand 33 at Aspen Lakes Restaurant – is the perfect place to start or end your day on the course.
