Open 6:30 a.m – 7:30 p.m. (Dusk)
Developed in 1972 as a destination resort, Crooked River Ranch (CRR) covers 10,000 acres of rural residential, recreational and commercial property. Much of the community consists of common and community property, buildings and equipment owned by the Crooked River Ranch Home Owners Association. The community is just outside the town of Terrbeonne and is in close proximity to Smith Rock State Park, the Deschutes River, BLM ATV trails, equestrian trails, rock-climbing, boating, and more. The community has many amenities for its residents and visitors, including three parks- one with a children’s playground and one available to rent- Crooked River Ranch Golf Course, which is open to the public, a baseball/softball field and more. Their pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day and offers a weekly schedule of aqua aerobics, adult and open swim times and a summer recreational program for kids. If you’re a disc golf player, pick up a map of their course in the administration office. The Ranch offers many walking paths on the property as well as access to nearby hiking trails. It even has its own falls, Steelhead Falls, a beautiful hike and picnic destination popular with residents and the public. You can be a part of it by staying at the Ranch’s RV park.
