Deschutes Collaborative Forest Project
Discover Your Forest is the proud non-profit partner of the Deschutes and Ochoco National Forests and Crooked River National Grassland. Their mission is to connect visitors and volunteers with Central Oregon’s National Forests through great visitor services, accessible interpretive programs, and opportunities to support public lands. They provide free year-round ranger-led tours and hikes throughout the forests and their bookstores in local Ranger Stations and Visitor Centers are filled with unique items for visitors and locals alike. Discover Your Forest offers many opportunities to give back to your public lands. Whether you give through membership, the $1 for Trails program – or even give your time as a volunteer, you are sure to find a great way to support these special places.
