Get into the swing of spring at the 9th annual Bend Tumalo Creek Kayak & Canoe Spring Paddlefest!
Spend the weekend on the Deschutes River, soaking in the Central Oregon sun, improving your paddle stroke and test-driving more than 150 kayaks and canoes; all for free.

What: Free 2-hour technique clinics focusing on paddle stroke and efficiency.

Location: River Bend Park, westside of the Deschutes River in front of the new Bend Parks and Recreation Building

When: 9am-4pm

The Art of Fly Fishing – skill, practice and patience.

Improve your cast, learn about tying flies and unlock the mysteries of Central Oregon fishing spots during Bend’s Orvis Spring Days.  The three-day calendar consists of activities for fly fisherman at every level of proficiency and is an excellent way to learn about local fish habitat and catering your fishing style to the species that populate our local waterways.
