Freddy Vilches, Lewis & Clark College’s director of Latin American studies, will offer a discussion and musical sampling in his presentation, “Traditional Music and Instruments of Latin America,” with a number of instruments on hand for demonstration.

Featured styles include rumba, guaguanco, son cubano, salsa and Latin jazz.
