In Annie Chrietzberg’s workshops, participants learn how to turn flat slabs of plain old clay into dynamic beautiful pieces that will enliven peoples’ tabletops, kitchen counters and cabinets, and even make unloading the dishwasher a joy!
Annie demonstrates how she prepares the clay, imprints texture, composes with pattern, and uses templates for consistency in production. She discusses different ideas about creating pieces for daily use, development of form and the making templates, and her glazing theory. Most importantly, she shares the tricks of making, and the meticulous details of construction that she has honed in her own professional studio practice.
