View All EventsTo honor those who serve, RISE Troops Challenge – Oregon features obstacles and challenges based on actual military tactical skills and training challenges across the branches. Plus, our event supports four veteran based non profit organizations.
Walk, run, or crawl your way through out series of challenging obstacles to earn your dog tag and bragging rights as one of our troops. Teams get their own Troop-based challenges, and must finish together.
Overcome obstacles ranging from military style wall climbs to the rope traverse to a team evacuation carry. Marksmanship is tested through the air-soft obstacle, while your endurance is tested through the sandbag gauntlet, ammo can press, and various challenges…plus much more!
ALL obstacles and challenges are based upon real military and first responder training and tasks.

What is the RISE Troop Challenge Like and Can I do It?
YES! You have it in you! All events are designed and created for any physical ability. They are attainable to the newby and challenging for the fittest. If you are in a team, you can work together and share the load. You can also do the alternative “Braveheart Battlefield Burpees” for missed obstacles and challenges. We will also have training available to prepare you for success.
Past events have had veterans and active duty out in force as well as those new to obstacle racing. Friendships have been formed literally on the course, and the camaraderie is contagious. Finishers often head back out on the course to encourage others. It is much bigger than just a race, fitness challenge, or competition. It is about facing challenges, rising above them, and setting new goals. All while honoring those who serve and sacrifice so much and bonding with a like minded community. And of course having fun, the pride of accomplishment, and creating memories along the way!
Sign up for the Short Course ~3 miles and 18(+) obstacles and challenges or Long Course ~7 miles and (25+) obstacles and challenges.
*Both individual and team options. Teams work together, can share the tasks, and get some special challenges.

After Party
Entry includes the after race “Morale Event” with music, food, and (of course) beer! As well as an awards ceremony and raffle.
Parking is free and spectators are welcome at no charge.
Great swag included: t-shirt, unique dog tag finisher medal, and a free beer courtesy of Braveheart Brewing, with entry!
