Les Schwab Amphitheater
Bend’s outdoor concert venue on the Deschutes
Located along the Deschutes River in the historic Old Mill District, the Les Schwab Amphitheater has quickly become one of the Pacific Northwest’s most outstanding outdoor concert venues since its opening in 2002.
Named in honor of legendary Central Oregon businessman and community leader Leslie Schwab, the Amphitheater accommodates as many as 8,000 fans on its grassy slopes. Musical legends like Bob Dylan and Paul Simon have graced the Les Schwab stage, as have performers as diverse as The Decemberists, Tenacious D, the Deftones, Jack Johnson and the Avett Brothers.
The 2018 concert lineup at the Les Schwab Amphitheater is as strong as ever, with the Dave Matthews Band, Primus and Mastodon, Steve Martin and Martin Short, and Jethro Tull just a few of the announced acts for the summer.
A proud supporter of Bend’s diverse cultural scene, the Amphitheater also hosts multiple community events throughout the year. The third weekend of every August the Bend Brewfest, Central Oregon’s largest craft beer festival, takes over the Amphitheater. And in May, Bend’s iconic Pole Pedal Paddle stages its finish line on the Les Schwab Amphitheater lawn.
