Winter is definitely a special time to visit Bend. The lifts at Mt. Bachelor are running and holiday lights help illuminate the downtown streets in the dark evenings. But how can you piece it all together? Here is a three day itinerary to help you and your friends or family get the most out of your winter vacation in Bend. Day 1- Start the day at Sparrow Bakery. There are two locations but the Sparrow Baker at Northwest Crossing as more indoor space. We recommend the breakfast sandwich croissant, but really, you can’t go wrong with a fresh pastry and coffee either. After you’ve enjoyed your breakfast head to Pine Mountain Sports to rent some snowshoes and a Sno-park pass to do a little snowshoeing for your day activity.
