Alaska Native Masterworks Fine Art Show and Exhibition
Spring Weekend Show with three award winning contemporary and traditional artists, three days only, in person, with baleen basket maker Don Johnston, Aleut; wood and walrus ivory sculptor artist Mark Tetpon, Inupiaq and bronze and ceramic sculptor Terresa White, Yup’ik.
The Peoples of the Far North have long honored their physical and spiritual connections with the animals, birds and mammals of the Arctic regions. These artists intimately capture and express this relationship with the natural and cultural world in contemporary and time-honored ways. Seldom are the individual voices and creativity of the Far North World brought together in one space, and we are super excited to bring this show to Central Oregon. Join us in Sisters for this three day show!
Friday evening opening reception, 4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m., demonstrations Saturday, exhibit through Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m..
