Bend Comedy Presents:
– SAM MILLER –
Sam Miller is a comedian from Olympia Washington. He is 6 foot 6, 360 pounds, has 2 kids, (one of them is on purpose) he’s been married for 8 years, and has been clean and sober for 10 years. Sam likes to make jokes about what it’s like to be a sober parent. He also likes to make jokes about what jails like in Yakima. Sam has performed at the Seattle International Comedy Competition and won the Comedy on Trial Competition in 2017. He’s also performed with the addicts comedy tour and at NA and AA conventions all over the northwest.
– RYAN BUNNELL –
Ryan Bunnell grew up in the Lacey/Olympia/Tumwater area of Washington. He began performing in punk, hardcore, and heavy metal bands when he was 14 years old. When he was 31 he decided to shift his creative and performative focus from music to stand up comedy. In early 2014 he first cut his teeth in the San Francisco Bay Area open mic comedy scene before moving back to Olympia later that year. His style is as crass and irreverent as it is sincere and earnest. The broad range of subject matter he plays with allows him to seamlessly blend the personal with the political, the rational with the absurd, and his academic snootiness with his blue collar boorishness. He has at times worked as a professional criminal, and at others as a professional writing tutor at a college; and his humor certainly reflects this ambivalence. Ryan has done guest, feature, and hosting spots at many comedy venues in the northwest. He was a finalist in the 2017 Olympia comedy competition. In September of 2016 he became a father, and in June of 2017 he became the first person in his family to graduate from college.
