The Cascade Gravel Grinder is one of the most scenic and diverse gravel events in the country. Located in Bend, Oregon the event will provide three days of amazing rides through the Central Oregon high desert and Cascade Mountain Range.
Description: This fast rolling course will take riders through the high desert scenery of eastern Oregon. Junipers, sagebrush, and jack rabbits will be in abundance. Climbs are low angle and fast. Depending on the snow pack and moisture in the spring the roads could be a little sandy. While rolling through this open country riders will be treated to tremendous views of the Cascade Mountain Range from Mt. Hood to the North to Mt. Bachelor in the south. There will be two aid stations on the course to help with refueling.
Parking: Parking will be located at Horse Butte Trailhead.
