Join us for an evening of great film and conversation with Director David Weissman. ‘We Were Here’ is an Emmy nominated historical documentary about the early years of the HIV/AIDS in the early 1980s, illuminating the profound personal and community issues raised by the AIDS epidemic as well as the broad political and social upheavals it unleashed.

A deep and reflective look at the arrival and impact of AIDS in San Francisco and how individuals rose to the occasion during the first years of this unimaginable crisis.

This event is free to attend, donations appreciated.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the movie starting at 6:00 p.m.
