Harvest Festival at the High Desert Museum
October 6, 2018 at 11:00 am
Experience a unique harvest at the High Desert Museum’s living history homestead.
The Miller family has been tending to their garden all summer and needs your help to prepare for winter. Dig and clean potatoes to store in the root cellar, press fresh apples into cider and even pickle some eggs. Help make sure the Millers are stocked with the necessities for the changing seasons.
Be sure to check out the Botanical Drawing Workshop at 10:00 a.m., and the Fur Trading Experience at 11:00 a.m. Inquire at the front desk for workshop prices.
