Misa a Buenos Aires – “Misatango”
featuring Giovanni Parra
The Central Oregon Mastersingers present Martín Palmeri’s “Misa a Buenos Aires.” The choir will be joined by the Salem String Quartet, Colombian bandoneonista Giovanni Parra, local mezzo-soprano Katrina Hays, and dancers from Tango Aficionados of Bend. Inspired by Argentina’s traditional tango and Astor Piazzolla’s tango nuevo, this “Tango Mass” is an exhilarating experience!
There is an additional concert on April 6 at 2:00 p.m.
