Yoga on the Pond
Come get your sweat on at Yoga on the Pond held right in our backyard on Mirror Pond! BBC’s own, Kayla Heuton, will lead a FREE one hour Vinyasa style class. Please bring your own mat to set up on our outdoor grass area.
Feel free to arrive early, set up your space and mingle. Then after the class, BBC will open early at 11:00 a.m. for mimosa’s, bloody marys, and beers!
Class Description: This Vinyasa style class is a dynamic practice highlighting breath and movement. All levels of practitioners are welcome with adjustments and modifications clearly explained. This class is challenging and fun yet grounding and re-energizing. To top it off, we all get to practice right on Mirror Pond, in the open air and sunshine.
Instructor Bio: Kayla was raised in Michigan, but is now happy to call Bend, Oregon home. She was first introduced to yoga when she was just thirteen and by the time she turned nineteen was a certified yoga instructor. She immersed herself into the practice of Ashtanga in Nepal through Rishikul Yogshala and her teacher Bipin Baloni and later continued her training with everything from Yin yoga to SUP yoga. Kayla believes her practice helps her in all aspects of life and allows her to unearth the many layers of this experience. As a teacher she simply wants to help others discover the magic of the practice.
