The La Pine Frontier Days event is a long tradition of the La Pine community. It is La Pine’s largest event and celebrates our heritage and unique character. It represents the coming together of the community in a celebration of all the things that we as Americans stand for. La Pine’s Frontier Days is now a full blown family-fun festival with parade, big fair with carnival rides, rodeo, fireworks, arts and crafts, food vendors, kid’s games, a mini-train, and live music entertainment day and night. There’s a locals’ talent show, fun lawnmower races and Dutch oven or chili cook-off or Western Style Pit BBQ. There are competitions for baked goods, preserves & home brew, as well as a Youth Fair and Art Show that brings talented artists from miles around to showcase their wares. And don’t miss the tremendous professional fireworks display the night of the 4th, bringing folks from miles around to see. Small town charm, and a full menu of activities to enjoy.
