Tour des Chutes

Tour des Chutes
Tour des Chutes is a multi-distance cycling event and/or a 5K run or walk to raise funds for local cancer survivorship programs for children and adults. The cycling event offers bike routes of 7, 25, 50, 75 and 100 miles. All rides are fully supported with safety riders, SAG drivers and well-supplied aid stations. The 5K run or walk features stunning views on the west side of Bend. The finish line offers a pancake party for our 5K participants and burrito bar for our cyclists. All enjoy live music from our stage. Tour des Chutes is possible because of our generous community of sponsors, donors, participants and volunteers. The funds raised directly support cancer survivors in our Central Oregon community. The Tour des Chutes was founded in 2004 by Gary Bonacker, brain cancer survivor, to raise awareness and provide support to cancer survivors in Central Oregon. All proceeds from this annual event go directly toward growing and nurturing the Cancer Survivorship Program at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, OR
