Upstream is the Upper Deschutes Watershed Council’s annual fundraiser for their environmental education program, The Upstream Project. This unique event will be held at Brasada Ranch and will feature a delicious catered dinner, an inspiring student presentation, and a distinctive silent auction. By donating an item for auction at Upstream, you are investing in the long-term health of the Deschutes River watershed, helping inspire future generations to care for our local waters, and directly supporting place-based education programs that engage thousands of local students in watershed education every year. The Upstream Project is a dynamic watershed education program that provides local students with hands-on stewardship experiences. Through streamside science, creative writing, art and restoration projects, the Watershed Council guides students to develop a sense of place and a sense of stewardship for their home waters. Upstream is a gathering of enthusiastic community supporters and a celebration of the year’s accomplishments in education.
