Started in 1995, Bend Brewing Company is the second oldest brew pub in Bend, so their roots are deep and their chops are serious. Brewing less than 1000 barrels a year, their beer is brewed upstairs overlooking the pub. Their brew system was made in Oregon and is one of the few direct fire kettles in town-one of the things they point to for the nearly yearly awards they garner. Their downtown location off of the Deschutes River at Mirror Pond features a large dog-friendly deck with outside seating along with counters and firepits. This is a place where you’ll find a lot of locals enjoying a laid-back lunch, dinner and pint overlooking historic Mirror Pond.
