Bistro 28 at Bend Athletic Club
Everything Made from Scratch
Bistro 28 is a neighborhood restaurant located in the Athletic Club of Bend just of Century Drive. The sister restaurant to downtown Bend’s award-winning Zydeco, Bistro 28 is a from scratch kitchen focusing on small, medium and large plates. The restaurant is open for dinner seven days a week and, while there is no designated happy hour, the menu offers several shareable plates along with a variety of drink choices, including a large West Coast wine list, local craft beers on tap and by the bottle, and several mixed drinks. Bistro 28 features a live wood burning stove, mesquite rotisserie, and two wood burning pizza ovens, one dedicated to gluten free pizzas. Chef Helt and his team use these to put a Northwest spin on entrees that spotlight steaks, chops, chicken, fish, and more. Pastas and salads round out the menu and a selection of seasonal desserts ends any meal on a sweet note. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are also welcome. Fireside dining is available year round and the outdoor patio is open during warmer months.
