Opened in 2002, the Blacksmith has since garnered rave reviews from National Geographic Traveler, Conde Nast Traveller, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Sunset Magazine for its steakhouse, full bar, and lounge serving distinctive bold cuisine. Located downtown in Bend’s historic 1923 Pierson’s Blacksmith Shop, the restaurant features stone and brick walls, copper bar top, subtle lighting and leather upholstery that creates a casually-elegant ambiance with cozy seating areas. The sophisticated comfort food meals come attractively plated with delicious accompaniments such as The Tomahawk, a 24-ounce bone-in Ribeye, Cider-brined pork chops, Shrimp and Grits, the Mac and Cheese flight, and crab corn dogs. Organic and natural dry-aged steaks are prepared delicately in exquisite sauces or served simply ala carte. Desserts include the show-stopping Fostered bananas split, prepared tableside, and they feature a full bar with cocktails, wine, and beer.
