Chow Restaurant, located right across the street from Newport Avenue Market, is simply about food and wine. They are a sustainable business and their approach to food and wine and business, and most importantly, the community is the same: keep it simple and let true and intense flavors show, simply. They have a small garden and sculptures on the property which is fun to explore while you wait for a table. They offer breakfast and lunch daily 7:00 a.m. to close, as well as catering, private dinners and functions, and a full bar. Owner and Chef David Touvell started working in a sustainable organic bakery when he was nine years old and he’s got vast experience in fine dining. As a Restaurant / Hotel consultant, he’s got the hospitality skill nailed. Chow features live music most weekends and outdoor seating most of the year, which is dog friendly. Plan to wait a while if you’re hoping for breakfast or brunch on the weekend; Chow is popular so grab some coffee or something a little stronger and chat with some new friends.
