Bend's Original Truck Stop Restaurant
Beginning its life as a legitimate truck stop on 3rd St (and one of the only places open and serving food late at night in Bend), Jake’s moved to the east side across from Costco with the opening of the Bend Parkway. They serve their loyal clientele what they describe as “the best food for the best price” and it’s hard to disagree. They are a genuine, old-fashioned café, not fast food, and everything they serve is fresh to order. They haven’t left their trucker-serving roots too far behind. Both the portion size the certain menu items (such as the ridiculous ‘Long Hauler’) harken back to their delicious past. From their Smothered and Covered (hash browns covered with cheese and country gravy), to their Pork Lover’s Delight to their Monster Breakfast Sandwich, you should throw caution to the wind and embrace this place. They have a seasonal deck for outside seating and a lunch buffet but who are we kidding; you’re coming for the breakfast.
