For those who don’t know, kombucha is a fermented, lightly effervescent, sweetened black or green tea. It’s produced using a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast, and has become wildly popular in the U.S. in recent years.
In Bend, you’ll find kombucha on tap at tons of local restaurants. Nearly every grocery store will have coolers packed with the bottled variety (much of it produced locally), and you can even visit a kombucha brewery as part of the Local Pour tour from Wanderlust Tours.
