Level 2 somehow manages to be very chic and comfortable at the same time, providing an urban-feeling restaurant and lounge experience in the Old Mill District. The historic brick setting, in the mill’s original Fuel Building, gives it an industrial vibe and, as the name suggests, it occupies the second story. This gives it a terrific view of the Deschutes River and the Cascades, and they have seasonal outside seating to take full advantage of the vista. Their menu includes a variety of small plates, appetizers, and entrées that are prepared from international recipes. They are known for their specialty cocktails and house-made desserts and bread. Happy Hour happens daily from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and they open every day at 11:30 a.m. for their lunch and dinner service. Level 2 is popular for private events and parties, whether for a celebration or for a work party, and can do a buffet for you in a room just for your group.
