New York City Sub Shop
Sub Shop Featuring Italian Baked Bread
Pub grub and Northwest-inspired dishes are great, but sometimes you just have a craving for a New York style submarine sandwich, piled high with the ingredients you love most. When you need to scratch that itch, New York City Sub Shop is ready for you. The first New York City Sub Shop opened its doors in 1985 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, serving up substantial sandwiches the New York way – with quality meats, cheeses, and veggies on Italian bread baked fresh daily. Yep, gluten free bread, too. The Bend store opened in 1996 and is located on 3rd Street next to Ace Hardware. The colorful décor and collection of Greta Gretzinger’s artwork create a warm and friendly environment that’s perfect for enjoying a delicious East Coast-style sub, custom made just for you. If you’re short on time, call ahead and your order will be waiting when you show up. New York City Sub Shop also has catering platters, perfect for feeding a crowd at the office, a picnic, or a party. They’re open Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., so plan your cravings accordingly.
