Tucked out of the way on Greenwood Avenue in Bend, Rockin’ Dave’s Bistro is easy to miss but hard to forget. Best known for their award winning boiled bagels in 16 different flavors (along with a dozen flavors of cream cheese, just to keep things interesting), Rockin’ Dave’s also cranks out some pretty amazing signature sandwiches, home-style soups, baked goods, espresso drinks, and baked goods, all made in-house and served up fresh every day in a fun and funky atmosphere. The chefs here believe in quality and sustainability, so they use Northwest beef for their house smoked pastrami and corned beef, Carlton Farms for their sausages, pulled pork, and pork belly, and local, organic fruits and vegetables whenever they can, all to ensure every dish is rockin’ in the healthiest way possible. This is also the place to settle in for local brews on tap, mixed drinks, four different champagne cocktails, and a mean chipotle bacon Bloody Mary, served with house pickled veggies to healthy it up a little bit. Rockin’ Dave’s loves to cater parties and special events but be warned; if you tell people he’s coming your guest list will probably double. Rockin’ Dave’s is open Monday – Saturday from 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
