Townshend’s Tea Company loves nothing more than fresh, expertly-crafted loose leaf tea—the only kind of tea they offer our customers. Located in downtown Bend, they are open Monday – Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Sprung from the idea that the various ways in which people enjoy great tea should be brought together under one roof, in a comfortable and inviting community-oriented space, one of their passions has been to join emerging neighborhoods where they could serve as a positive gathering space for the community. Townshend’s teahouses offer a thorough list of teas from all categories (black, green, white, chai, herbal) as well as beverages with tea as the main ingredient. Their bubble tea (boba, if you prefer) is made with slow-cooked tapioca pearls and real fruit concentrate, and their kombucha brand, Brew Dr. Kombucha, which grew from the kitchens of their teahouses in 2008, is still made today with the same great tea blends they developed for service at our teahouses.

Keep an eye out for Brew Dr. Brewer’s Lot, a seasonal kombucha offering that you can only find on draft at the teahouse.
