One of Bend's Most Popular Breakfast Spots
Established in a quaint house on Bend’s west side in 1983 as The Victorian Pantry, and then renamed The Victorian Cafe in 1996, it’s been voted #1 Breakfast in Bend fifteen times by locals, and recently named Best Brunch in Bend by Central Oregon magazine. In 2002 the current proprietor purchased the restaurant with a goal to rebrand the traditional diner and bring in a new fresh look and attitude, adding a full bar and expanding the menu to include more upscale and eclectic cuisine. The “Vic Experience” wait may be long, but they make it comfortable with lots of outdoor seating, a fire pit, and even an outdoor bar during busy days. Inside, they have reinvented the idea of breakfast with a modern spin on traditional food fare and embracing the idea that morning dining should be an “experience,” fusing classic breakfast items with creative food combinations from their mouth-watering omelets to eggs benedicts. Not just food, their full bar has been serving up award-winning Bloody Marys and the legendary “ManMosa” (crafted with Victorian Cafe private label champagne) for years.
