What started as a pet owner’s quest for a healthier pet in 1993 then turned into a delivery service of premium pet food in Bend. After a short time, a retail space was needed for Bend Pet Express (BPE), which also provided a place where they and their well-informed staff of animal lovers can spend time helping customers find the perfect solution for their pets. Now with two locations in Bend, one on the Westside off Century Drive and the east side location across from Costco, they still believe “healthy pet food makes all the difference.” Both stores carry the same hand-chosen food selection that is evaluated by pet experts, and both stores are of course “pet-friendly.” They encourage you to visit often with your best friend to check out the new items, as they consistently discontinue items when manufacturers change their quality standards and replace them with products that meet the BPE standards. They have a wide selection of toys and accessories to keep your cats and dogs happy, healthy, entertained, shiny, comfortable and stylish. The Eastside location even has a dog wash and the west side location is next door to Muddy Paws Dog Wash.
