About the Piece: “Snowpocalypse 2017″ – The year Bend turned into a giant snowball! Living in the high desert, we seldom get a snowfall that is more than a few inches, but every once in a while mother nature cuts loose, and in 2017 we had several feet of snow that lasted several months. This piece is dedicated to the city of Bend and all its citizens who survived that epic winter!
About the Artist: Vicki Roadman is a retired educator and a longtime resident of Central Oregon. Art is a passion and a hobby. She considers it a privilege, and an honor, to create this piece for the city of Bend.
