Bend Mennonite Church
A Historic Peace Church Following Anabaptist traditions
Bend Mennonite Church is a small body of followers whose mission is to work, in communion with one another, through the gifts of God’s abundance, for the sake of the world and the glory of God. As a historic peace church, Mennonites follow in the Anabaptist traditions and the church’s vision is one of healing and hope; to grow as communities of grace, joy and peace, so that healing and hope flow through the church’s members to the world. Because Bend Mennonite is a small church, the congregation meets with some irregularity. Facebook is the best place to check the church’s weekly schedule and services are generally held on Saturday afternoons in the lovely Heritage Hall at First Presbyterian Church on 9th Street in Bend. People of all faiths are welcome to join the congregation in singing hymns, praying together, sharing scripture and being in community with one another.
