Just off Highway 20 in northeast Bend, Bend Veterinary Clinic is open daily, with extended hours until 8:00 PM on Thursdays for dogs, cats, and exotic pets. Want to know what they mean by ‘exotic’ pets? They see patients who are snakes (and all reptiles), rabbits, chinchillas, sugar gliders and even a gigantic monitor lizard. Services include wellness and preventative pet care, internal medicine and diagnostics, comprehensive dental, surgery and laser procedures, immediate or urgent care and even house calls (scheduled on a case by case basis), and euthanasia counseling.
