The non-denominational Desert Streams Church meets together in two main formats. One is their Sunday morning celebration service where the entire church gathers in a very casual way, to worship celebrate, and to receive some teaching and encouragement in a life-giving way. This service is held at Desert Streams’ church on Bend’s Eastside where you can expect a warm, welcoming environment, friendly people, and joyful, passionate worship music. The second is Desert Streams’ Life Groups, small gatherings of people (usually 3-15 or so) where there is practical sharing done among the group. Small Life Groups are designed to be a place where people can really be real and group members endeavor to be “family” with one another. In these Small Groups, which are generally hosted in homes, there is usually a sharing of snacks, desserts, or a meal. It’s where relationships are encouraged and developed, and it is where people’s gifts and talents are exercised and strengthened.
