Based in Vancouver, Washington, Heritage House Ministries has a local group of followers who meet at the Wagner Mall on 3rd Street in Bend. Heritage House Ministries’ goal is “to search for the lost sheep of the house of Israel and restore them to their Hebrew roots and to the Covenant of Promise given through Abraham.” People of all faiths are invited to explore the Torah and deepen their understanding of the church, its connection to Israel, and roles and responsibilities of the people of Israel. Hank and Marilee Hobson, Heritage House Ministries’ founders, were raised in the Christian faith but in their adult lives found that something was missing from the churches they attended. They saw a movement toward their Hebrew roots as the way to find spiritual fulfillment, and encourage all to gain fresh insight from the Scripture by looking at it from a Hebraic perspective, thus expanding their understanding of the Word and seeing its relevance for today, for each person’s life.
