Temple Beth Tikvah (TBT) is Central Oregon’s Jewish Reform congregation for Jewish families, retirees, and singles at every level of faith, holding worship services in a welcoming sanctuary at the First Presbyterian church in northeast Bend. Coming together in different ways, inspired and informed by the common thread of Jewishness, the Temple welcomes you whether you were born Jewish, love someone who is Jewish, choose to be Jewish, practice Judaism a little, a lot or not at all. TBT offers an inclusive, communal foundation—while the act of prayer is a personal journey, worshipping together strengthens our ties to the community. Offering different ways to welcome and celebrate Friday night Shabbat, there are joyful, musical Erev Shabbat services in the sanctuary, boisterous family Shabbats, informal Kabbalat Shabbats in welcoming venues, cozy Shabbat@Home dinners where small groups of members gather in multiple homes, and monthly morning Shabbat Torah service and study sessions that honor the joy of learning.
