The Forum Shopping Center is an extremely busy shopping development on Bend’s eastern edge. Anchored by major brands like Costco, Old Navy, Barnes & Noble and McDonalds, it features a wide array of stores and restaurants. While it’s not a terribly pedestrian friendly area, it has some great restaurants, and you can find just about everything you need, from the latest bestseller to dishes to office supplies to 100 pounds of just about anything from Costco. The Whole Foods gets a lot of traffic during the lunch hour with their selection of fast, easy, delicious and healthful fare, but don’t miss out on local favorites Hola for Mexican food and Baldy’s BBQ (which serves breakfast, hard to find on the east side). From the basics like Safeway for groceries and Pier 1 for home goods to the more interesting and local Wild Birds Unlimited, whatever you are seeking is conveniently accessible at the Forum Shopping Center.
