Lucky Lady dresses are a Bend original. Sold only at Cowgirl Cash, a gem of a Western vintage shop tucked just off Wall Street downtown in the breezeway on Brooks Street, these dresses can be custom made to your measurements in a fabric of your choice (allow 4 weeks for production), or you can pick one that’s already waiting on the hanger for you, knowing each and every one is one-of-a-kind. Shop owner Rebecca Charlton was searching for the perfect dress to bring to her customers. She wanted something a little bit vintage and a lot flattering without being too revealing that would work for a lot of body types and styles. She found a vintage pattern and altered it with the help of a local patternmaker, then found a team of seamstresses to make each dress by hand in Central Oregon. Since she launched Lucky Lady dresses, they’ve become the fastest selling item in her popular shop, special dresses handmade in a beautiful mountain town. Rebecca describes them as being an extension of the slow food movement, an extension of a “rich, slow, beautiful life”. These dresses are designed to wear to the rodeo, to the farmers market, to the playground, on your next trip, and on date night.
