[body] => The Reptile Zone is Central Oregon's first reptile store. They proudly say their pets, products and animal food are of the "highest quality" to support the length and quality of life of your beloved reptiles. Because they believe ethical practices matter, they only sell captive-bred healthy and happy animals. Jeff Jensen, The Reptile Zone's knowledgeable and experienced owner, has consulted with the High Desert Museum and other respected local organizations on their animals. The shop, open Tuesday through Saturday on Greenwood Ave in midtown, showcases a number of unique reptiles, amphibians and other animals from around the world like a Spitting Cobra, Golden Eyelash Pit Vipers, a Gaboon Viper, a Mexican Beaded Lizard, and much, much more. It's not just shop visitors and reptile lovers who can interact with interesting reptiles, though. If you're looking for a unique birthday party idea, The Reptile Zone will bring out pythons and giant tortoises and huge Tegu Lizards-oh my! Not only will kids love seeing and touching these gentle and beautiful animals, they'll learn a whole lot, too

If you’ve vacationed in Bend a time or two, odds are good you’ve hit all the major tourist attractions. Drake Park, a hike to Tumalo Falls, maybe a river float or a visit to Mt. Bachelor. While those things should be on every visitor’s Bend bucket list, it’s fun to venture outside the Westside core surrounding Downtown Bend and the Old Mill District. Here are five zones worth exploring, along with what you should see, do, and eat while you’re there! Northwest Crossing The Makers District Mid-Town Northeast Bend Business 97 (aka 3rd Street)
