The Shoe Inn is temporarily only open Monday – Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

In 1990, Karen Saunders bought a popular local shoe store and renamed it The Shoe Inn. It was a perfect fit (so to speak). Not only is her store family-friendly, it’s family-run with Karen’s daughter an asset on staff. The entire focus of the store is the idea of comfort. This is why she places an emphasis on special ordering for her clients and carrying a wide range of high quality shoes, boots and sandals that also happen to be perfect for travel, work and play. They want their customers to look good and feel good, because those customer relationships are what have kept them motivated for 20 years. They carry popular shoe brands that they themselves wear, like Dansko, Clarks, Teva Ugg, Keen, Berkemann and New Balance. The Shoe Inn is located in The Forum Shopping Center on Bend’s east side, and they carry a selection of socks, bags and other essentials.

Lisa's Favorite Local Shops

There are definitely a lot of options in Bend when it comes to shopping. It makes for excellent window shopping but most people will just go to Downtown Bend or Old Mill. Here is a list that can get you information on a variety of cute boutiques that are all around Bend. These shops vary between more specific shopping, clothing etc, while also varying in location. You can visit Iron Horse in the historical part of town, discover you’re next big find while also getting to view the old houses. If you are looking for shoes, then you could visit Shoe Inn on the Eastside of town followed by a trip to Worthy Brewing as a treat (shopping isn’t easy, so reward yourself for those successful moments!).
